How it works

Upload a PDF and choose your output format and resolution. The tool renders every page to a canvas using pdf.js, then converts each to a JPG or PNG image. Single-page PDFs download as one image file; multi-page PDFs are bundled into a zip. Everything happens in your browser — your PDF never leaves your device.

When to use this

• Posting a PDF page to social media — Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn won't accept PDFs
• Dropping a chart or diagram from a PDF into a slide deck or document
• Sending someone a quick image instead of a whole PDF they'd need to download and open
• Extracting pages from a scanned document to use as standalone images

Common mistakes

• Using Standard resolution for print — switch to High or Maximum if the images will be printed
• Choosing JPG for images with text on a transparent background — use PNG to preserve transparency
• Converting a 100-page PDF at Maximum resolution — it works, but the zip will be large and conversion takes longer
• Forgetting that JPG fills transparent areas with white — if your PDF has transparency, PNG keeps it
