These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WebToolsBetter ("the Service"), operated by QR vCard Garden LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

WebToolsBetter provides browser-based file processing tools (image resizing, PDF compression, format conversion, and similar utilities) on a pay-as-you-go credit model. The Service is delivered through webtoolsbetter.com.

2. Accounts

To use most tools, you must create an account using a valid email address and verify that email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

3. Credits and Pricing

The Service operates on a credit system. Each tool consumes a specified number of credits per use, displayed on that tool's page before processing.

• New verified accounts receive 2 free credits.
• Additional credits are available for purchase in packs (see our Pricing page for current rates).
• Credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Expired credits cannot be restored or refunded.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Credit consumption is FIFO: when you use a credit, the oldest non-expired credit in your balance is consumed first.

4. File Handling

Files you upload for processing are handled as follows:

• Files are processed on our servers and the result is delivered to your browser as a download.
• Original uploaded files are deleted immediately after the processed file is generated.
• Processed output files are retained for up to 24 hours to allow re-download in case the first download is interrupted, then permanently deleted.
• We do not archive, back up, or use your files for any purpose other than delivering your download.
• You retain all rights to files you upload. We claim no ownership of your content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process files containing illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, content that infringes another person's copyright, or content that violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or compromise the Service through automated abuse, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized access attempts.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.

8. Service Discontinuation

If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 30 days advance notice via email to all account holders, and we will issue full refunds for unused credits regardless of original purchase date.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that processed file output will meet your specific requirements, that the Service will be error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall QR vCard Garden LLC, its members, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QR vCard Garden LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders or by prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
